The Chamber was incorporated in the District of Columbia in July 2009 as a 501(c)(6) non-profit member organization. Our principal office is in Rockville, Maryland with our Colombian office being located in Bogota, Colombia. Our primary goal is to promote trade and investment between the two countries.
The Chamber was formed due to a lack of any Bi-National Chamber of Commerce between the United States and Colombia. This void has caused a significant lack of representation for companies and individuals from both countries that want to promote growth of their companies through bilateral trade. There is also a lack of voice in Washington, DC who can clearly and concisely demonstrate to our politicians the need and benefits of promoting and
getting passage of the Colombia Free Trade Agreement. We aim to be this voice here in the Nation’s Capitol. We will demonstrate that the Country of Colombia has a rich heritage and much to offer to the United States in many ways. This encompasses the political environment, economically and culturally too.
United States-Colombia International Chamber of Commerce is the leading bi-national business organization working to build mutually beneficial trade and investment relationships in the Americas. The organization’s mission is to promote business between the United States and Colombia.
